We invite both senior graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Health Sciences (HS), and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) fields to apply for the 2024 New England Future Faculty Workshop. This virtual two-day workshop is for postdoctoral fellows and advanced graduate students interested in faculty careers in STEM, HS, or SSH to get more familiar with the application process and improve application materials. This two-day workshop is designed to serve those members of groups whose representation in faculty positions is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. This includes women, racial and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, first-generation students, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those who support the efforts for a more diverse workforce.
The 2024 Future Faculty Workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday, July 31 through Thursday, August 1 from 9 a.m.—3:00 p.m. ET.
Applications will be accepted until Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Following the application review, applicants will be notified and invited at the beginning of July to register. A fee of $50 will be required at the time of registration. Information regarding fee waivers is available upon request.
